For many women, the relationship with their fathers can have a profound impact on their lives and their sense of self-worth. Whether it's due to emotional neglect, abuse, or absence, father wounds can leave deep scars that affect relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being. However, there is hope for healing and growth through the concept of sonship.

So what is Sonship ?

Have you ever wondered why, of all God’s creation—the sun, moon, stars, galaxies, the powerful forces of water, wind, and fire, or even the invisible intelligent beings like angels or perhaps aliens—only humans were created in His image? Genesis 1:26 declares that God made human beings in His likeness. Out of all His creative works, humanity is the only creation that carries His DNA.

Think about it: no matter what you achieve or how much you create, history and statistics prove that having a child is seen as the most profound accomplishment. Perhaps that’s why the Creator of heaven and earth, the founder of all things, chose to become a Father. He gave birth to you and me—not as mere creations, but as His children. That’s the essence of Genesis 1:26: God, in all His glory, became a parent and called us to rule the earth, enjoy its benefits, and live an abundant life, just as He rules heaven.

This is why Christ, the Son of God, came to earth—not just to save us, but to display our true identity and greatest responsibility: to be. To be the son or daughter we were originally created to be. Just by embracing this identity, we begin to operate in the "God class," where all creation responds to us as His children.

No matter the pain of fatherlessness—whether it’s through abuse, absence, or difficulty—Sonship offers a way to overcome. As Christ demonstrated, our healing and restoration lie in being who we are meant to be: sons and daughters of the Creator. By embracing Sonship, we step into our God-given authority and purpose, and all creation aligns with who we are in Him.
